Fledge is about helping you. I can put together a tailored package of services to meet your specific requirements. Here are some of the things I have done for other clients:
- Sanity check. Get an expert independent view of your business. I’ll come in, talk to you and your staff, review your client list, look at the books and, ideally, talk to one or two clients. Then I’ll present my assessment of the business and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Goal setting. Many people aren’t brave enough to ask ‘what do we want to do with this business’. It can raise uncomfortable political issues between partners. It can be hard to find the middle ground between what you would like and what might be possible. I can help you set realistic long-term goals that everyone can share and believe in.
- Business plans. I’ll help you work back from the end of a 10-year spreadsheet to set goals and plans to achieve the results you want. The key is to break things down into achievable goals and reconcile revenue targets with everyday issues like office space and headcount
- HR and management advice. Things change as you grow. What worked with four people doesn’t work with 12 and what worked with 12 isn’t great when you get to 40 staff. Forward planning can stop growing pains becoming roadblocks and, having been through the whole cycle, I can help get it right.
- Investment. In the right circumstances, I can invest my own money and introduce you to other potential investors and I can help you set up an Enterprise Investment Scheme to make any investment tax-efficient.
- Exit planning. Have you been approached by a potential buyer? Are you thinking of selling now or in the next couple of years? I’ve been through a trade sale and I can help you find expert advice and prepare your business for an exit with a view to maximising value and minimising distraction.
